Air Fryer Chickpeas

 One of the reasons I got an AF was to have healthier meals and snacks. I love a crunchy snack but hate all the empty calories and fat. I tried Roasted Chickpeas and am thrilled with the results! - updated: here is the recipe I followed: 

Drain 1 can of Chickpeas (no need to rinse) - put in bottom of basket in a single layer and put temp at 390 for 17 mins. 

Heat with nothing on them for 2 mins to dry them off. 

Spritz with oil (I used an olive oil spray and did a very light spray) - 

return to cooking and then at 5 minutes shake -

 then cook for another 5 mins and shake. 

For the last 2 mins that’s when you add your seasoning of choice (I used 1 tbs of ranch seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper) - 

back in the AF for the last 2 mins. 

Lay out on a plate to cool. Can use more seasoning when you take them out. I saw Cajun, Cinnamon Sugar, Chili Seasoned - you could do practically anything that’s powdery. Hope you enjoy!
