Recipe We Love: Homemade Taco Seasoning
by Michelle Murray of MoneySavingMadness.com

Sometimes the simplest things are the most useful. There is really no secret recipe for taco seasoning. In fact, most of us have all the ingredients in our spice cupboard! Ortega and Old El Paso don’t have anything we don’t (except MSG, preservatives and fillers), so make some of your own. Hold the MSG!
Save on spices by picking up 99¢ Stonemill Essentials at Aldi or at drug stores. Aldi has all the spices you’ll need to make this recipe.

• 3 Tablespoons Paprika
• 4 Tablespoons Cumin

• 4 Tablespoons Cornstarch (optional)
• 3 Tablespoons Paprika

Directions
Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight container. Season your ground beef, roasts, chicken, pork and more! You can use less of the homemade seasoning and get a lot of flavor. Season to taste, usually about 1 tablespoon per pound of meat. If you like your taco seasoning saucy, add the cornstarch to the recipe!
